VICE PRESIDENT OF ENTERTAINMENT
Amanda Meyer is Vice President of Entertainment for Margie Korshak, Inc. and spearheads public relations for Broadway In Chicago, Navy Pier. Highlights outside of Broadway In Chicago include World Premiere of Hamilton: The Museum Exhibition. She has worked on media relations for more than 150 productions the past decade at MKI, including the sit-down production of Hamilton, Pre-Broadway World Premiere engagements of Tootsie, The Cher Show, Pretty Woman: The Musical, Escape to Margaritaville, The SpongeBob Musical, First Wives Club, The Last Ship, On Your Feet!, Kinky Boots, Gotta Dance, Big Fish, as well as National Tour launches including Disney’s Aladdin and Motown the Musical and the 10th anniversary of Wicked. Recent highlights of projects outside of Broadway In Chicago include the World Premiere of Hamilton: The Exhibition, Gilder Lehrman Institute’s Hamilton Education Program and Rolling Stones Exhibitionism exhibit.
Prior to Margie Korshak, Inc., Meyer executed PR campaigns for a variety of accounts at Carol Fox & Associates, including Blue Man Group, Chicago Theatre and Cirque du Soleil, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular and Madison Square Garden Entertainment. In 2006, Meyer joined the Golin team and was recipient of the agency’s “Pitcher of the Month” award three consecutive times and “No Pain, No Gain” award for media relations support.
A Chicago native and graduate of Columbia College Chicago, Meyer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
