Emma LaPalermo



Emma LaPalermo is the Senior Account Executive and Media Manager at Margie Korshak, Inc. She has a unique background in business management, fashion marketing and online advertising, with a results-oriented approach to press strategies and client relationships.​


In her role at MKI, LaPalermo has been involved in philanthropic projects for Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation; Girls 4 Science Chicago; Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois; Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation; National Kidney Foundation of Illinois; and Tight5 Productions, executing awareness campaigns, securing human interest stories and developing fundraising initiatives, along with special entertainment events and galas.


Lifestyle and hospitality ventures include Chicagoland and Block 37 openings for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts; the Bronzeville Grand Opening and 31st Street re-opening for Home Run Inn; Stockton Restaurant & Lounge Grand Opening in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood; and an active role in Horseshoe Hammond Casino’s “The Book” Grand Opening in 2019 and the reopening in June 2020. ​

Most recently LaPalermo has handled the launch of Fresh Midwest and Daily Rasoi (a Meal Village brand); Grand Openings of Squeez Juice Bar and Matchacita; announced the first of its kind partnership with the Chicago Cubs and Home Run Inn; written speeches for Cedar Concepts Corporation; and assisted in the introduction of Recovery Centers of America at St. Charles. ​

She has been crucial in managing crisis communication throughout the pandemic, disseminating local and regional COVID-19 pandemic updates while also spearheading timely media opportunities regarding donations and community partnerships. ​


Growing up in Elmhurst, IL, LaPalermo now lives in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood where she can be found cooking, reading and listening to albums on her new record player.
