Emma LaPalermo is the Senior Account Executive and Social Media Manager on the Philanthropy & Lifestyle team at Margie Korshak, Inc. She has a unique background in business management, fashion marketing and online advertising, with a results-oriented approach to all relationships.
In her role at MKI, Emma has been involved in philanthropic projects for Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, Girls 4 Science Chicago and the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois, executing awareness campaigns along with special entertainment events and galas.
Lifestyle and hospitality ventures include Chicagoland and Block 37 openings for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, the Bronzeville opening and 31st Street re-opening for Home Run Inn Chicago, Stockton Restaurant & Lounge Grand Opening in the Gold Coast and an active role in Horseshoe Hammond Casino’s “The Book” Grand Opening, garnering more than 100 million impressions nationally.
Most recently, Emma manages client crisis communication efforts, disseminating local and regional COVID-19 pandemic updates while spearheading timely media opportunities.
Growing up just outside of the city, LaPalermo now lives in Lakeview where she can be found cooking and reading on the weekends and enjoying Sundays at her parents’ condo in Lincoln Park.
